The Role - CNC Machine Operation (Perforated Metal)
Morning Shift and Evening Shifts Available – 24 Hour Operation
Metrix Group have an in-house training program that is excellent for anyone interested in a career in Advanced manufacturing. In 12 months you will operate different types of CNC equipment, learn LEAN processes and tools, and obtain a forklift license and first aid certification. No prior manufacturing experience or qualifications are required.
We are seeking an intelligent, responsible and energetic person has a great attitude, wants to learn, and enjoys a challenge of working in a fast-paced team environment with daily key deadlines to meet in order to provide excellent customer service. This is a hands-on job requiring attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
Successful candidates will have access to the company’s careers training program that offers opportunities in CNC programming & machine operation, drafting, and design. Career opportunities are promoted within the company with regular career reviews providing employees the opportunity to up skill or change their career path.

Skills required
- Literate in both written and verbal English.
- Good mathematical ability.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg.

Reporting to the production manager in a progressive family business, you will be working for a great company with a fantastic culture, which is looking to grow substantially in the next few years and invites you to grow with us. The role requires commitment, dedication, and flexibility, with a can-do attitude. This is a Monday to Friday, long-term, full time, stable position for the right applicant.
$60,000 plus superannuation, paid holidays, and sick leave will be offered.

Step One | Application

Step Two | Video Interview
You will be notified by email as to whether you have been selected to participate in this process. In this stage, candidates will have to answer a series of questions through a one-way interviewing system. Take time to research and prepare, this can be more challenging than it appears.
Step Three | Final Interview
At this stage, a one-on-one interview is scheduled with the Director or the Lead or your potential Team Leader. This will give your interviewers the chance to learn more about you and for you to learn more about the company and the people you could be working with.
Step four | Outcome
You will be notified by Metrix Group via phone or by email as to the suitability of your application. All candidates who progress to this stage will receive feedback on their application. If you have not heard back from us, your application is still under review.
